Practice 03
Litigation
Built on evidence. Argued with clarity.
Our litigation practice is grounded in a deep command of electronic evidence. From the first demand letter through trial, we bring forensic rigor to fact development and present complex technical issues in plain, persuasive terms.
Modern litigation is fought over data. Who accessed a system, what an email chain really shows, whether a file was copied or altered, and what a phone's location history proves. Litigators who cannot engage with that evidence directly are forced to rely entirely on others to interpret it.
We take a different approach. Because our practice spans forensics and eDiscovery, we develop the factual record ourselves with the technical depth it requires, and we can spot weaknesses in the other side's evidence that others might miss. The result is a case strategy anchored in what the record actually supports.
We represent businesses and individuals in civil disputes, and we work alongside other firms as co-counsel or evidence counsel where technical issues are central.

FAQ
Common questions
Do I have a case?+
It depends on the facts, the evidence and the applicable law. In an initial consultation we will discuss what happened, what records exist, and what remedies may be available, then give you a candid assessment.
How long do civil cases take?+
Many resolve within months; others take a year or more, especially if discovery is extensive or the case goes to trial. We discuss realistic timelines at the outset and update them as the case develops.
Can you work with our existing attorneys?+
Yes. We often serve as co-counsel or evidence counsel alongside other firms where technical or electronic evidence issues are central.
What is a claim under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act?+
The federal statute addresses accessing a computer without authorization or exceeding authorized access. Civil claims have specific requirements, including a showing of qualifying loss, so early analysis matters.
Should we settle or go to trial?+
That decision belongs to you. Our role is to give you a clear view of risk, cost and likely outcomes so you can make it with confidence.
